Lunch Club
Children aged 3 and over have the option to stay for lunch (Monday -Thursday, 12:00-12.30), this incurs a fee of £4.50 (from September 2023) regardless of any funding in place and needs to be booked in advance.
Children who stay for lunch bring in their packed lunch, eat at the same time, on tables of 3 or 4 children, this starts at 12:00. This is a very popular and social event. (Many parents have found that this really helps the children when they start school.) We encourage parents to provide a healthy balanced lunch with fruit and veg where possible and refrain from chocolate, sweets and sugary drinks. To ensure the children's food stays at the appropriate temperature, we recommend that cool packs are used in the lunch boxes.
